So, when winged_mammal reblogged this FuckYeahPervyFangirls gif -
I thought “hey, why not try and write a little smut-fic around that? Since you’ve been laying on the angst a little thick lately, it might be nice to take a break from that.” That ‘little’ smut-fic, turned into this. I don’t know HOW it got as far away from me as it did, but I can’t take it back now.
Fandom: Warehouse 13
Word Count: 10, 048
Disclaimer: Characters of Warehouse 13 do not belong to me, sadly. I’m just borrowing them for a while, but I’ll put them back once I’m done. Inspired by this utterly fantastic gif . Title is taken from the song by Florence and The Machine.
Summary: When H.G. gets a very unexpected visitor she learns that she is not the only person who excels at finding the things she wants.
A/N: I’ve written NC-17 stuff before, but I’ve never written anything quite like this. So, despite previous dabbling, I’d consider this to be my first ‘proper’ NC-17. Be gentle with me. ;) A huge, HUGE thank you to alittlebit-aces. Who basically did everything from read over this, to encourage, to reassure me it wasn’t a pile of crap. And also gave me the title.
Accidental Tourist - Chapter 17 is now available. You can find it here.
In this chapter we find an unexpected resolution to the Holmes case and Myka faces a new problem in her present time period.
I hope you are enjoying the story, and that you can forgive the long pause for this last update. I needed a bit of a break, but Redlance has a way of inspiring me to write. So, thank her for the update today. :)
Please feel free to leave a review. I love hearing from the readers!
I have decided that no matter what happens in the intervening years (and there better be at LEAST 4 more seasons, 5 would be preferable) when the show ends, (because obviously fanfic is another thing entirely) I need:
Steve to be alive and a regular cast member (so on missions its Claudia and Steve, and Pete and Myka);
Artie and Vanessa to have finally gotten married (or at least be together);
Mrs. F to still be around and plan to be so for at least another decade before Claudia decides to take over the Caretaker duties; (And maybe when Claudia becomes Caretaker, Steve uses the Metronome because he doesn’t want her to be alone, and you know its probably only going to be a hundred years or so until there is another Warehouse and another Caretaker and what’s a hundred or so years when you want to be with someone you love?)
Pete to have found a nice girl (or to get back with his ex after her husband, I don’t know, cheats on her or something, who cares as it means Jeri Ryan will be a recurring guest star…)
Helena to be a Regent (or some official capacity in the Warehouse) and she and Myka will be married with at least one daughter (or just have plans to have one daughter, that’s ok too), and they will be sharing a room at the B & B.
For the audience to know all about Leena’s backstory and for her to have totally saved everyone’s ass all by herself in at least one episode.
Yep. That’s how I want it to be. Some of that is negotiable, but not the Helena and Myka married part, or the Steve is still alive part. Nope. Not negotiable.
Warehouse 13 4x02 will be beginning in just over 2 hours and the losing of shit with commence. This will not be a spoiler-free blog. I’ll try and remember to tag my stuff but, honestly, I’m probably going to be too fucking psychotic to remember to do that. So if you don’t want spoilers, go ahead and unfollow.
Now, in the meantime, I’m pretty much just going to be doing an as-accurate-as-possible imitation of this;
You’re welcome to join me.
Will be tagging anything spoiler-y with a simple “spoilers” tag.
So I wake up to find this bit ‘o lovely on my dash that and I’m all getting ready for work and don’t have time to read it cuz it’s Monday and I gotta be out the door in 20 and don’t have time to really… indulge and now I have to wait ALL day and… Red, love you dearest,…
I can only hope it’s worth the wait.
Okay, soooo I finally got a chance to, um, *cough*, indulge in your little tale this afternoon, and well, the verdict…
